Indications

Enterotoxaemia and infectious necrotic hepatitis in sheep and goats,

enterotoxaemia in lambs and kids,

and enterotoxaemia and blackleg in cattle; used for protection against these diseases.

Use during pregnancy:

Although there is no objection to using the vaccine in pregnant animals, use in animals in an advanced stage of pregnancy (last third in cattle, sheep and goats) is not recommended.

Results for rabbit and guinea-pig blood sera after vaccination with 1 sheep dose (guinea-pig challenge results):

Cl. perfringens type C (minimum 2.5 IU/ml β-antitoxin)

Cl. perfringens type D (A.sgari 2.5 IU/ml -antitoxin)

Cl. oedematiens type A (minimum 2.5 IU/ml α-antitoxin)

100% protection against Cl. chauvoei

Composition values for 100 ml of concentrated tetravalent TETRANDOLL:

Aluminium hydroxide gel 12.6 ml

Formalin (37%) 0.7 ml

Phenol 0.32 g

Trypsin 0.0025 g

Distilled water to 100 ml

Storage and shelf life

Store at +2/+8°C in the dark.

Shelf life: 2 years.

Withdrawal period

In accordance with Article 10/2 of European Union Directive 2001/82/EC, the withdrawal period is at least 28 days after vaccination.

Presentation

25 ml (16 sheep and 8 cattle doses), 50 ml (33 sheep and 16 cattle doses) boxed/unboxed and 100 ml (66 sheep and 33 cattle doses) boxed/unboxed in coloured type II glass bottles; and 25 ml (16 sheep and 8 cattle doses), 50 ml (33 sheep and 16 cattle doses) boxed/unboxed, 100 ml (66 sheep and 33 cattle doses) boxed/unboxed, 200 ml (133 sheep and 66 cattle doses) and 250 ml (166 sheep and 83 cattle doses) in plastic bottles, with silicone stoppers and aluminium caps.
