- Indications
An inactivated bacterin-toxoid vaccine used in ruminants (cattle, calves, sheep, lambs, goats and kids) for protection against blackleg (Clostridium chauvoei), bacillary haemoglobinuria (Clostridium haemolyticum), malignant oedema and braxy (Clostridium septicum), gas gangrene (myonecrosis) and infectious necrotic hepatitis (Clostridium novyi), tetanus (Clostridium tetani), and lamb dysentery, enterotoxaemia, haemorrhagic enterotoxaemia, struck and pulpy kidney disease (Clostridium perfringens types B, C and D).

- Dosage and administration
Annual periodic vaccination is given at 2 ml in sheep and goats, 1 ml in lambs and kids, 4 ml in cattle and 2 ml in calves.
Animals vaccinated for the first time should receive a second dose of the same amount 21 days after vaccination.
From 2 months of age, the vaccine is given subcutaneously to sheep, goats, lambs and kids of any age in the woolless, low-movement axillary area, and subcutaneously to cattle and calves behind the shoulder in the low-movement area.
- Storage and shelf life
Store at +2/+8°C in the dark. Shelf life: 2 years. Do not freeze.
- Withdrawal period
The withdrawal period in food-producing animals is 0 days.
- Presentation
The vaccine is supplied in 20, 50 and 100 ml amber type II glass bottles or 20, 50, 100, 200, 250 and 500 ml plastic bottles, containing 10, 25, 50, 100, 125 and 250 sheep, goat and calf doses; 5, 12, 25, 50, 62 and 125 cattle doses; and 20, 50, 100, 200, 250 and 500 lamb and kid doses. Not all pack sizes may be marketed. Each bottle has a butyl stopper and aluminium cap and is boxed in polystyrene trays of 50 or 100 with one leaflet per bottle. No diluent is included in the pack.
