Dosage and administration

The vaccine is given to lambs, kids, sheep and goats of any age from 1 week of age.

The vaccine is applied by scarification on bare skin in the inguinal region (inner side of the hind leg): make 3-4 crossing scratches 0.5-1 cm long, deep enough to pass the first layer of the skin but without causing bleeding, then drop 2 drops (0.1 ml) onto the scratched skin and wait a few seconds. For this purpose, draw 2 ml of solvent with a sterile syringe and transfer it into the vial of dry vaccine, shake without foaming, and draw it into the syringe 2-3 times to mix it with the diluent. Then fit the separately packed dropper to the mouth of the dissolved vaccine bottle. Scarification is done with the metal scarifier supplied in the pack.

Because the duration of immunity of the vaccine is a maximum of 12 months, repeating the vaccination every year with the same dose is recommended.

Reconstituted vaccine must be used on the same day (within six hours).

Storage and shelf life

Store the vaccine at +2/+8°C in the dark. Do not freeze.

Store the solvent below 25°C.

Shelf life: 2 years.

Withdrawal period

The withdrawal period is 14 days.
